This week, Keith Moverley celebrates 40 years’ service with SYSTRA
(TSP Projects, TSP, Tata Steel Projects, Corus Rail Consultancy, Civil Engineering Design Group, InterCity Design Group, Network Rail Design Offices)
Keith has seen a lot of changes in his 40-year career with the Company. He started as an apprentice in 1980 at the age of 16 at the Doncaster Works. Whilst working as an apprentice, he studied Mechanical and Electrical Engineering at the University of Sheffield and is an Incorporated Mechanical Engineer and a Member of the Institute of Engineering Technology.
Early in his career, he specialised in Points Heating, but moved into project management, his first major project being the redevelopment of Castleton Works Northern Service Centre
Keith is currently Major Projects Director at SYSTRA, responsible for a team of 14 people. He is working to develop our expertise in Canada and across the UK & Ireland.
He led the Company’s flagship rail projects as Project Director for the Reading Area Redevelopment Project and Senior Project Manager for King’s Cross Station Redevelopment Project.
Earlier in his career he undertostern Main Line, specifically on Route Sections 8 & 9.
Keith’s key skills are project direction, project management, time scheduling, budget and cost management, change control and earned value analysis, risk and Quality management.
