WHO ARE WE?
SYSTRA has been involved in UK mobility and mass transit schemes for over 50 years, our transport planners delivered the first large scale transport studies in the UK (leading to the implementation of the Tyne & Wear Metro). We have managed and developed London’s strategic transport model since 1987, including developing the tools to assess the capital’s congestion charge scheme, Thameslink and other major rail schemes. SYSTRA played a key role in delivering HS1, the UK’s first high speed line, and we are now part of the team delivering Crossrail as well as other major infrastructure projects, including HS2.
SYSTRA has been at the forefront of high speed rail engineering for over 30 years. We have planned, designed, overseen the construction and tested close to half of the world’s high-speed rail lines.
