St James’ Square Office Redevelopment
The proposed office redevelopment of 30 St James’ Square, Westminster sought to demolish the existing plantroom, 5th floor and internal core and floors and to create a new 5th floor and set back 6th floor mansard (steep sloped roof) to provide a total of 1,574sqm of B1 Office space, 74sqm of A1 Retail space at ground floor level and 92 sqm of A1/B1 flexible use at basement level.
SYSTRA Ltd were commissioned by Deloitte to produce a Transport Statement, BREEAM Office Travel Plan, Delivery and Servicing Management Plan and Construction Management Plan to support the planning application. SYSTRA met with local residents as part of the scheme to help appease their concerns regarding the impacts during construction. The application received consent in January 2017.
