SYSTRA UK

World leading rail and urban transport engineers

Company History

SYSTRA Group was created from the merger of two engineering organisations, SOFRERAIL founded by SNCF in 1957 and SOFRETU founded by RATP in 1961.
Recognising a global market place for their engineering, design and operator expertise, both organisations quickly gained international recognition.

The alliance between the two organisations was driven by the complimentary nature of its skills and expertise which sparked the ability to achieve a far higher turnover in the global market place.

At SYSTRA today, we are proud of our global footprint, our partner companies compliment each other and span Europe, North America and Asia, providing planning, engineering and software products to the rail and urban transport sectors across all six continents.
