Andrew Boagey


Andrew is SYSTRA’s Business Director for Northern Europe. Andrew leads SYSTRA’s participation as project delivery partner for London’s Crossrail Central. Andrew led SYSTRA’s involvement in Britain’s first high speed line, HS1 and is now advising HS2 - the promoters of the UK’s next high-speed rail line from London to Birmingham - on the railway’s design parameters.

David Steele


David is Value Manager for Crossrail Central, he has already successfully delivered significant cost savings to the Crossrail programme. This involved incorporating value management techniques into Crossrail’s core day-to-day systems, procedures and processes. Increased financial pressure from Government and banks has meant that David’s contribution has been invaluable.

Jacques Rabouel


Jacques is renowned around the world on HSR. He has advised the British, French and Chinese governments on high-speed rail. He appears regularly on TV. Jacques is a civil engineer and has over 30-years rail experience.

André Ohnheiser


André is Regional Director for Systra in Europe. André has led several successful teams in Systra and SNCF involving the management of railway infrastructure and major projects, related to HSR. Andre was formally Director of the SNCF Marseilles Region, which included the Lyon to Marseilles HSR line. He was the Director of the Italian subsidiary of Systra, which led their HSR programme. André currently leads the project management team on Crossrail, in partnership with Bechtel and Halcrow and, most recently managed the technical modifications to HS1.

Gilbert Moens


Gilbert is a rail signalling specialist with over 30-years experience. Gilbert is passionate about his work and has developed an expertise in high-speed rail signalling systems. Gilbert worked closely with HS1 to deliver a signalling system to allow rail freight to use HS1 for the first time.

Howard Crane


Howard is Project Field Engineer for White Chapel Station, part of London’s Crossrail project. He is responsible for day-to-day monitoring of the contractor, ensuring quality of building materials and inspecting construction on-site. Read more about Howard...

Jay Carver


Jay is Project Archeologist for Crossrail Central, he is a key part of SYSTRA’s Project Delivery Partner team. The construction of Crossrail through the heart of London is one of the most extensive archaeological programmes ever undertaken in the UK.

James Claxton


James is Programme Operations Manager for Network Rail’s investment in the Crossrail project. He is responsible for determining, preparing and co-ordinating the readiness of the new line from driver training to operational timetables.
