Tram-Train

Since 1995 SYSTRA has been at the forefront of developing tram-train systems and technology. Based on the use of existing railway lines by trams, the tram-train concept helps to connect suburban centres to towns centres without interchange. We have planned, deigned and constructed tram-train systems in Bordeaux, Nantes, Lyon, Mulhouse, Strasbourg, Grenoble, Marseilles, Geneva and St-Benoit, Reunion Island. SYSTRA has also undertaken feasibility studies in Coimbra, Portugal and Livorno, Pisa and Lucca, Italy.
